MALE MONOLOGUE

07/03/2005

CHRONIC COMPETITION ran for one month at Boston Centre for the Arts to good
reviews, see reviews.

Three computer needs in high defense mode, are trying not to screw up their lives.

STEWART
It doesn't sound crazy, that's what's so crazy
Did we hit the glass ceiling, or did we hit the glass doors?

I spend all day in the office
in my suit and jacket
working all day for the sake of the bosses
and if I don't put my feelings first, who will?

You're running away from me just at the moment
I need you the most
putting miles in between us - both

If I'm not the man in your career plans
then I'll stop crying stop trying

and it doesn't seem crazy, that's what's crazy
do we hit the glass ceiling or do we hit the glass doors?

You say there's no room for big animals
even in zoos, I know this is true but there's
gotta be room for me and my baby

I wanna sit all day on the beach with mothers and kids\
all day at the beach doing nothing\
nothing at all
just gazing at my babyt
